Do you wrap pallets by hand and, after a few of them, feel the film burning your fingers? The SF-50321 dispenser solves this as simply as it gets. It is a pair of lightweight handles that you slide into both ends of the roll core – you hold them, not the hot film. Wrapping becomes comfortable, faster and safer for your hands, especially with large pallet loads. 🎁 Why wrap a pallet in stretch film at all?

Wrapping a load in film is real protection for your goods and money in transit. Well-tensioned film:

• Stabilises the load: it binds the boxes into one compact block – nothing shifts or slides on a bend or under braking.
• Protects against dirt and moisture: a tight layer of film keeps dust, rain and splashes away during transhipment.
• Guards against losses: a tightly wrapped pallet is harder to unpack unnoticed on the way.
• Makes transport easier: a cohesive load is easier to lift with a forklift and safer to place in the trailer.

🔧 How to wrap so the film holds?

You slide the handles into both ends of the 50 mm core and grip the roll from two sides. Then a few simple rules give the best result: anchor the film at the base of the pallet (a few low turns to tie the load to the pallet), wrap spirally up and down with an overlap of about half the width, and wrap more firmly at the bottom and on the corners. You adjust the tension on the fly by pressing the sleeves against the core – the harder you press, the tighter it gets. The roll turns on the cores, so the film comes off smoothly and evenly, without burning your hands.

📏 Which film to choose?

These handles work with hand stretch film wound on a standard 50 mm core. When choosing, pay attention to:

• Thickness (mic): thinner film (e.g. 17 mic) is more efficient and cheaper per pallet; thicker film (23 mic) holds heavy and sharp loads more firmly.
• Colour: transparent lets you see the contents and labels; black covers the goods when you want discretion.
• Eco version: film with recycled content (ecoSTRETCH) reduces the environmental footprint for the same work.
