Tesa® tape consists of a paper carrier with a silicone-free release coating and a solvent-free adhesive system. It is used for bonding a wide range of cartons with different properties. The bonds made with the tape withstand short shocks due to the very high elongation capacity of the paper carrier, which is twice that of conventional paper tapes. The tape unwinds easily and is suitable for application with both manual dispensers and packaging machines. It also has an exceptionally high adhesion, which means that it generally cannot be removed from the carton without damaging it, providing protection against unauthorised access to the packaged contents. The paper carrier harmonises with the carton, giving the packaging an elegant and uniform appearance. In addition, the product is environmentally friendly, as its carrier is made of paper - a natural and ecological material.
