1. Prepare the cardboard: Make sure the box is filled and its flaps are correctly folded.
2. Apply the tape: Place the beginning of the tape in the middle of the top gap (where the flaps meet). Then, holding the roll, pull the tape along the joint, maintaining slight tension for even adhesion.
3. ✂️ Cut the tape: When you have sealed the entire gap, cut the tape - use a knife or a dispenser with a blade. Leave about 5 cm of tape on both sides to stick well to the sides of the cardboard.
4. Press and check: Press the tape along its entire length, especially at the ends. Make sure the tape adheres tightly and does not stick out anywhere - the package is ready for shipment!

Graphic file preparation instructions

In order for the tape design with the logo to be printed correctly, prepare the file according to the following guidelines:

• File format: vector graphics (AI, EPS or PDF). We do not accept bitmap files (.jpg, .png, .gif) – the logo must be prepared in curves.
• Color scheme: CMYK mode, 1-color project (no gradients). Set the project background to white (tape color) or transparent, according to the tape color.
• Resolution: 300 dpi for all raster elements – images of lower resolution (below 150 dpi) may lose quality after printing.
• Project dimensions: height 48 mm (tape width), length of a single pattern module adjust to needs (e.g. 300 mm). The designed module will be repeated on the entire length of the roll.
• Margins and bleeds: keep ~3 mm margin from the top and bottom edge of the project so that no important element is cut off. Add 2 mm bleed if the background or graphic elements are to reach the edge of the project.
• Typography: convert text to curves (text conversion to objects) to avoid font problems. Avoid very small elements – the minimum line thickness is approx. 1 mm, and the recommended minimum font size is 10 pts for readability.
• Pattern repeatability: Make sure that the pattern repeats smoothly. Arrange the graphic elements at equal intervals – it's best to prepare one module that will be multiple times on the tape during printing.
