How to use the tape?

Here are some tips on how to properly seal packages with our printed packaging tape:

1. 📦 Prepare the carton: Make sure that the box is filled and that its flaps are properly folded.
2. 🎯 Apply the tape: Apply the beginning of the tape to the middle of the upper gap (flap junction). Then, holding the roll, pull the tape along the joint, maintaining slight tension so that it adheres evenly.
3. ✂️ Cut the tape: When you have sealed the entire gap, cut the tape (with a knife or using a dispenser with a blade). Leave about 5 cm of tape reserve on each side to stick well to the sides of the carton.
4. 💪 Press and check: Press the tape along its entire length, especially at the ends. Make sure that the tape adheres firmly and does not stick out anywhere - the package is ready for shipment!

Graphic File Preparation Instructions

To ensure that the tape design with your logo is printed correctly, prepare the file according to the following guidelines:

• 💾 File format: vector graphic (AI, EPS or PDF). We do not accept bitmap files (.JPG, .PNG, .GIF) - the logo must be prepared in curves.
• 🌈 Color scheme: CMYK, 1 color print (no tonal transitions), white project background (tape color) or transparent.
• 🖨️ Resolution: 300 dpi for all raster elements (images below 150 dpi may lose quality).
• 📐 Project dimensions: height 48 mm (tape width), length of the pattern module as required (e.g. 300 mm) - the pattern will be repeated along the entire length of the roll.
• 📏 Margins and bleeds: Keep a safe margin of ~3 mm from the top and bottom edge to avoid cutting off important elements. Add 2 mm of bleed if the background or graphic reaches the edge of the tape.
• 🔤 Typography: Convert texts into curves (Outlines) to avoid problems with fonts. Avoid very small elements - the minimum line thickness is about 1 mm, and the font size is min. 10 pt for readability.
• 🔁 Pattern repeatability: Design the layout of the graphic so that it repeats smoothly on the tape (elements arranged at equal intervals). You can prepare one pattern module, which will be duplicated during printing.
